Dr. Raed Al-Rayes
Chief Executive Officer

Dr. AlRayes has a proven track record of accomplishments in different professional capacities spanning nearly 20 years - with successful contributions across several fields including investment banking and direct investment. He has played a key role in many financial institutions where he held leadership positions, and he has made significant contributions through board positions in numerous companies. Additionally, he has served as a member in several executive and advisory committees for leading public and private institutions that operates in several sectors, including energy, industry and services sector.

Dr.Raed has held several leading positions in major companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Head of Investment Banking at Al Rajhi Capital. He then served as CEO and General Manager of Arab Petroleum Investments Company (APICORP) in early 2014. Following that, he was appointed as an advisor to the Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources from May 2017, until he joined Dussur.

Dr. AlRayes earned his PhD in Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management & Business Research Methods, as well as a Masters’ Degree in Business Administration from the University of Bradford in the UK. He acquired his Bachelors’ Degree with honors in Islamic Economics from Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud University.

Tariq Al-Thukair
Executive Director of
Strategy & Planning

Engineer Al-Thukair joined Dussur as Executive Director of Strategy & Planning carrying with him significant experience in strategic development and project management. He began his career with Saudi Aramco’s Information Technology Organization before spending several years as a Project Engineer on Oil Production Expansion Project. Eng. Al-Thukair next took on a business development role at the company, with a particular focus on promoting the growth of local industries, before becoming a Strategy Professional within Saudi Aramco’s Accelerated Transformation Program where he developed a roadmap for a Competitive Saudi Energy Sector.

Eng. Al-Thukair holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley.

Dr. Ammr Kurdi
Chief Corporate Services Officer

Dr. Ammr K. Kurdi joined Dussur as the Chief Corporate Services Officer in 2019. He holds more than 15 years of professional and executive experience in accounting, finance, and auditing. Dr. Kurdi is a dynamic leader and finance executive with a proven track record of success in business strategy setting, leading complex organizational roles, and analysis & execution of mergers and acquisitions. Dr. Kurdi has a wealth of experience serving on the Boards, Audit Committees, and Risk & Compliance Committees of multiple joint stock, private, and public organizations, including Savola Group, Acwa Power, Derayah Financial, Wala’a Insurance, the US Institute of Management Accountants, King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), and SOCPA, among others.

Prior to joining Dussur, Dr. Kurdi was the Group Chief Financial Officer at Saudi Arabian Amiantit Company. At Amiantit, Dr. Kurdi led a global accounting and finance team spread over more than 20 subsidiaries and joint ventures across the GCC, North Africa, and Europe. Prior to his tenure at Amiantit, he was an Accounting Professor and the Chief Audit Executive for KFUPM, where he conducted academic research and helped establish a pioneering internal audit function using the modern risk-based audit approach.

Dr. Kurdi earned his Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of North Texas in 2010, a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Arizona in 2004, and Bachelors’ degree in Accounting from KFUPM in 2001. He also holds an executive degree in Audit Committees & Governance from Harvard Business School in 2015 and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

Abdulrahman Al-Shangiti
Head of Shared Services functions

Abdulrahman Al-Shangiti is the Head of the Shared Services Function at Dussur. He brings over twelve years of experience in talent acquisition, culture transformation, strategy, and human capital operations management to the organization.

Abdulrahman began with Dussur as Vice President of Human Capital, leading and managing manpower planning, recruitment, performance management, talent development, career development, succession planning, total rewards framework, and employee relations.

Lately, in addition to his scope, he was assigned to lead Business Services and IT departments as part of the Shared Services.

Prior to his role in Dussur, Abdulrahman served as Staffing Manager at Sadara Chemical Company from 2014 till 2017. His responsibilities included managing talent acquisition specialists, supervising recruitment operations, developing talent acquisition policy and procedures, and implementing an ERP system for recruitment.

Abdulrahman was also Section Head of Contracted Manpower at Maaden Aluminium Company from 2011 to 2013, where he was in charge of talent acquisition, employee onboarding, and mass recruitment campaigns.

Before Maaden, Abdulrahman worked as a Recruitment and Training Specialist at Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) and handled recruitment and training activities.

Abdulrahman holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from King Faisal University. He is also a graduate of the Essential Leadership Program from London Business School.

Abdullatif Alsowidan
Head of Corporate strategy and Performance

Abdullatif Alsowidan is the Head of Corporate strategy and Performance department at Dussur, where his responsibilities include oversight the corporate performance, strategy, stakeholder engagement, corporate communication and branding.

Mr. Alsowidan is responsible for managing Dussur's strategy updates and business plans to enable the achievements of Dussur mandate and objectives, as well as monitoring and improving corporate performance.

Mr. Alsowidan is an accomplished professional and brings to Dussur over twelve years of experience in several fields, including business analysis and planning, strategy development and implementation, management consulting, in addition to performance and project management.

Prior to assuming his role in Dussur, Mr. Alsowidan was assistant vice president in the public investment fund, 2020; and he was also a business developmental consultant, in Elm company, 2019.

Mr. Alsowidan holds a Master’s degree in Construction Management from the university of Birmingham, UK, and an Executive Program for Middle Managers, Stanford University.

Eng. Turki M. Al-Mady is the Chief Investment Officer at Dussur. Before assuming his current responsibilities, he held several leadership positions in the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC)’s corporate functions and a group of companies globally, including the roles of serving as General Manager for Mergers and Acquisitions, Director of Global Investments Execution, Head of Cash & Debt Management and Investors Relations, where he was primarily responsible for managing SABIC's strategic investment initiatives around the globe, as well as, overseeing the management of its relationships with investment banks, credit rating agencies, and the broader investment community.

Eng. Al-Mady has accumulated over eighteen years of experience at SABIC, during which under his leadership, he has led the group’s deal teams in structuring and negotiating some of its landmark transactions, including facilitating the Saudi Aramco acquisition of a controlling stake in SABIC from the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF); Concluding SABIC's first cross-border M&A transaction of a publicly listed company (the acquisition of a strategic 24.99% stake in Clariant AG); Concluding SABIC's first global carve-out and divestment of one of the company's integrated assets (Disposal of the PolymerShapes distribution asset in the United States); Concluding SABIC's first buy-out of a foreign JV partner in a domestic affiliate (Buy-out of Shell Chemicals from the SADAF JV); Concluding SABIC's first technology and IP rights acquisition from a leading industry competitor (acquisition of the SNAP MTBE catalyst manufacturing technology from BASF).

Naseem Haider
Chief Financial Officer

Naseem is Chief Financial Officer at Dussur, with over 30 years of professional investment and managerial expertise, bringing valuable operational experience through previous key leadership positions in several multinational corporations.

Naseem is Chief Financial Officer at Dussur, with over 30 years of professional investment and managerial expertise, bringing valuable operational experience through previous key leadership positions in several multinational corporations.

Before Dussur, Naseem was Finance Director at “NESR” The National Energy Services Reunited from June 2018 to March 2020, which is the only NASDAQ listed company from the Middle East. “NESR” is an oil service company operating in over 15 countries in the MENA, Far East, and Sub-Sahara Africa. Here, Naseem oversaw all treasury, insurance, and tax matters for the “NESR” Group, including acquisitions and corporate reorganization.

Naseem was instrumental in the acquisition of National Petroleum Services “NPS” by “NESR” in June 2018, ensuring the successful integration of the “NPS” organization within “NESR”. Prior to joining “NESR”, Naseem was Group CFO at “NPS” from April 2008 to May 2018 (an oil service company with operations in over 15 countries) responsible for all financial matters.

From 2004 to 2008, Naseem was Chief Financial Officer at Horizon Terminals "HTL" and lead the group's effort in achieving the HTL vision of becoming a global player in oil storage. Under his financial stewardship, HTL was valued at $ 400 million in 2008 from an initial $100 million invested as seed capital by its parent Emirates National Oil Company in 2004.

Prior to HTL, Naseem was with Schlumberger “SLB” for 19 years in several financial and tax positions based in Paris, Algeria, London, Dubai, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. His last position in “SLB” was Finance Director MENA, responsible for all financial matters relating to the Schlumberger’s Seismic division in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.

Naseem has an MBA in Finance & Accounting from “ESCP” Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris Business School in Paris.

Mohammed Abdullah AlAbdulkrim
Head of Governance

Mohammed Abdullah AlAbdulkrim is the Head of Governance at Dussur, where he leads the Legal, Board Secretariat, Risk and Compliance, and Mergers and Acquisitions departments.

Mr. Alabdulkrim has an extensive 18 years of experience in the field, especially in the finance, banking, and capital market sectors, prior to joining Dussur Mr. Alabdulkrim was the Head of Legal of Alrajhi Capital company, and prior to that, he served as a Legal Advisor in Alinma Bank.

Mr. Alabdulkrim holds a Bachelor of Laws from King Saud University and has his Master of Laws from the University of Hawaii- in Manoa.
